About the class
Public Forum debate is an unique debate event where teams of two debate over fun yet vital topics that changes monthly. Public Forum debate will help educate your children on a variety of global issues, stemming from healthcare to econmoics to international relations. In addition, Public Forum debate is imperative to improving your children's ability to effectively communicate, critically think, and influentially lead. In this class, our instructors will help students learn the fundementals of Public Forum debate. Our instructors will thoroughly teach students how to create arguments logically, refute arguments skillfully, and present arguments confidentally. This class will be great for innovation, creativity, and education.

Jason Zhang
Coach

Jason Zhang currently is a sophomore at the Kinkaid School in Houston, Texas. Jason has been involved in speech & debate for 6 years, participating in activities such as oratory, extemp, congressional debate, and public forum debate. Serving as the PF captain at the Kinkaid School, he has earned 3 bids to the Tournament of Champions so far this season. He has finaled the VBI tournament, octo-finaled the Arizona State Tournament, the TFA state tournament, and the NSDA qualifier tournament this year, along with making elimination rounds in multiple other national tournaments as well. Jason is extremely excited to help students find their pathway of joy into debate in this year's camp.
