First Spark Institute
First Spark Institution is a student led organization dedicated to providing opportunities to our fellow community members. Through the projects and events we host, we hope to contribute to a generation of engaged, connected youth within our community. In pursuing this goal, your interests are our interests. Whether it’s arts and crafts sessions or fundraisers for various humanitarian projects, we want to follow your suggestions to improve the community in your vision. In doing so, we can spark the inspiration that drives our members to achieve even greater things.

Hi everyone! I am the president of FSI, and I am super excited to be working with you guys. I enjoy playing soccer, debating, and playing video games! I am also extremely passionate in helping the community and doing whatever I can to make the world better!
Ryder Tang
Vice President
Ryder Tang is an enthusiastic debater and student artist. This is his first year as treasurer of FSI. In his time not spent reading sci-fi novels, he likes to watch anime.
Ryan Du
Director of Event
I am Ryan Du, an avid member of FRC 5427 Steel Talons, and an active member of Scouts of America. After realizing how much the community that I have grown up in and lived in my entire life, I realized how much I owe to the community. As VP of events, I plan on doing as much as I can to organize events in order to give back to the community and help others experience what I had the opportunity to do.
Yanxi Liu

My name is Yanxi Liu, I am a junior in Jordan High School. I love cats and I like to listen to all kinds of music; my favorite artist is Sammy Rae & Friends, and my favorite band is The Cranberries. I am an optimistic person and hope to motivate the people around me! My goal this year is to manage my fears to whatever things I encountered, and try my best to master each days!

Hi! My name is Ryan Lin, and I am currently a junior at Tompkins High School. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, talking with friends, playing with my dogs, and rock climbing! I am super excited to be on this team and can't wait to help the community!
Treasurer
Minhao Tang is a dedicated runner and violinist. He enjoys volunteering in the communities, playing tennis, and watching movies. This will be his first year as the treasurer of FSI.
